As the CEO of Life Education Queensland, I want to personally thank you for re-joining the Kids Protect Team and welcome you back to the Life Education family. You are part of our inner circle of dedicated supporters, who believe in the power of education to prepare children for the rapidly changing world they are growing up in, and protecting them from it’s dangers.

Every day, I hear stories that capture the life-changing impact your generosity makes in the lives of children all over Queensland. These range from the smallest yet profound victories, like a young boy taking the time to  practicing emotional regulation, or a young girl being more cautious toward the ‘friends’ she is making online. And then are the bigger, deeply meaningful outcomes – a child finding the courage to confide in a trusted adult about the abuse they suffered, or a young person empowered to stand up against schoolyard bullying. These stories, big and small, are made possible by your incredible kindness. 

I know you will agree – there are still far too many stories about children who didn’t receive the support they needed when faced with bullying, mental health challenges, abuse or online threats. The heartbreaking loss experienced by these families is a reminder of why we do this work, and why your generosity is so important to so many children. With you on our team, we can provide Life Education to more children, providing them with the skills and support they deserve.

You are a vital part of a generous and compassionate community that is shaping a brighter, safer future for Queensland’s children.
