Boosting health and immunity with Matt Dowling

As a physiotherapist, nutrition educator, part-time hobby farmer and fitness enthusiast, Matt Dowling is a passionate advocate for living your best life. Matt is also finalising a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Population Health, (Public Health Nutrition).
As Life Education’s resident health and nutrition officer, Matt was instrumental in delivering an innovative nutrition-focused program to around 20 North Queensland primary schools in 2019.
The award-winning program, known as Healthy Eats, is designed to boost children’s fruit and vegetable consumption through a variety of strategies including class sessions, breakfast programs, vegetable gardens, tuckshop audits and consultation with community groups.
Matt says leading a healthy life is attainable for most of us if we follow a simple strategy that involves – eating nutritious food, getting enough sleep, and finding time to exercise.
Matt’s infectious positivity and energy will make you want to grab an apple and get moving.
