As a passionate, skilled and experienced Health Educator, you will be required to deliver the Life Education programs to local primary schools in Townsville and surrounding areas as well as north west Queensland.
In addition to being a dynamic and engaging facilitator to children and young people, you will also be a resource and support to classroom teachers, ensuring that you are helping them to meet their health education needs.
A teaching qualification is not required for this position, although you must have prior experience of facilitating learning programs with children. A health promotion background would also be advantageous.
Full training of content delivery (conducted in our Townsville and Gold Coast Head Office), together with Fifth wheeler training in the form of a Tow-ed course to tow the Life Education van to various locations; a company car for work purposes; attractive NFP salary packaging options including an entertainment benefits; Employee Assistance Program access; mobile phone and regular access to ongoing professional development.
This is a full time fixed term contract until 30 June 2022.
