Bookings Coordinator

In this role you will be responsible for the retention and growth of schools and early learning centres that participate in the Life Ed program.  This includes building successful relationships with schools and early learning centres to secure bookings and effectively timetabling our team of Educators across Qld to deliver these sessions.

Using Salesforce, you will create and manage a pipeline of opportunities and proactively contact these to sell the benefits of the Life Ed program.  You will also closely manage our repeat bookings, ensuring that each school is followed up and that solid relationships are maintained.

You will have a strong understanding of our funding partners and required outcomes, ensuring that those regions are prioritised and schools are booked accordingly.

You will be an excellent communicator and can develop relationships quickly, both internally with staff and management, and externally with Principals, Coordinators and Office staff.

You will be an effective user of Salesforce and confident to ensure data is accurate and well maintained.

This is a core role and we are looking for someone who is results driven, can work well with multiple deadlines and is a proactive problem solver.

This role is based from our Head Office, with some work from home opportunities from time to time, and once initial training has been completed.

Applicants must address the following selection criteria in the cover letter of their application:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, planning or timetabling
  •  Experience in telesales or a sales related role, with the ability to pitch and close a booking over the phone or email
  • Strong relationship building skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong database skills (ideally with Salesforce or similar) and high-level administration capability
  • Results focused, with capability to manage competing demands, ensuring the organisation’s outcomes are met, together with managing stakeholder expectations
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Enjoy working in a small, busy team
  • Have a current Qld Working with Children Blue card, or willingness to obtain one
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

This role will be offered on a full time basis (Mon – Fri 8.00am – 4.00pm or similar) for a fixed period until 30 June 2025.
