Salesforce and ICT Adminstrator

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining Life Education Queensland’s technology.  This will include the administration and improvement of the Salesforce Lightning platform and the resolution of technical issues relating to the IT infrastructure throughout the organisation.

Salesforce Lightning administration will be a major component of the role, ensuring the platform is providing adequate solutions in line with changing business requirements.  This will include the implementation of workflows and processes through the engagement of internal stakeholder needs and managing these requirements with external Salesforce developers.  Your confidence and knowledge of this system will see you providing training to various end users to build internal competency.

Other important tasks in this role will include the management of existing ICT infrastructure, providing varying levels of IT support to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.  This will include all hardware and software management, maintenance of all equipment and training of end users as required.  A focus on reviewing and recommending ICT solutions will be required as the organisation continues to grow and change.

Community Development Officer - Child Mental Health & Wellbeing

This position is based in our office on the Gold Coast, with the requirement to travel throughout south-east / west Queensland, and occasionally to north Queensland and Wide Bay.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Support the research, co-design and development of a new program in Queensland primary schools to improve children’s social/emotional wellbeing and resilience – with a focus on bullying, respectful relationships and mental health.
  • Work alongside primary schools, mostly in the south east Queensland region,  to develop and implement a social/emotional learning (SEL) framework for their students
  • Provide evidence based early intervention support to teachers and parents/carers to support children’s mental health
  • Deliver parent education sessions and teacher professional development, both face-to-face and via remote delivery

Nutritionist & Community Development Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced nutritionist to join our new Social Impact Team as Nutritionist and Community Development Officer.

This position is based in our office on the Gold Coast, with the requirement to travel throughout south-east/west Queensland, and occasionally to north Queensland and Wide Bay.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Lead Life Education Queensland’s strategy to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among children age 3-13 and reduce rates of obesity and overweight in Queensland.
  • Manage the continued development and delivery of Life Education’s Healthy Eats program in targeted Queensland communities.
  • Work in partnership with local primary schools to develop a whole of school approach to improving nutrition, including school breakfast programs, fruit and vegetable gardens, school tuck-shop menu audits and other place based initiatives.
  • Work with other community stakeholders to enhance our social impact.
  • Develop ongoing nutrition content aimed at parents, teachers and students.

Learning Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Learning Coordinator with a strong background in delivering end-to-end learning and development, to join our new Social Impact Team.

The Role

This role will be an important backbone to the Social Impact team.  Tasks will include:

  • Develop, design and produce engaging and interactive learning material and resources to be delivered on-line and face-to-face, that are curriculum aligned and support teachers and parents to empower children to make healthier choices
  • Support the development of new programs in Queensland Primary Schools with a strong focus on nutrition and social/emotional wellbeing and resilience
  • Assist in the administration of Life Education Hub (LMS)

Research and Evaluation Officer

We are seeking a Research and Evaluation Officer to work within our Social Impact Team.

The Role

The Research and Evaluation Officer will work within our Social Impact Team to provide professional expertise and skills in research methodology, research design, data collection, data analysis and the interpretation and presentation of research and evaluation results.  This role will have the opportunity to take a significant lead in informing the development, management and reporting of agreed social impact projects.

This position is based in our office on the Gold Coast, with some requirements to travel from time to time throughout south-east Queensland, and occasionally to north Queensland and Wide Bay.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Take a lead on the research, co-design and evaluation of a new program in Queensland primary schools to improve children’s social/emotional wellbeing and resilience – with a focus on bullying, respectful relationships and mental health.
  • Work with Griffith University on the measurement and evaluation of the Healthy Eats program
