Salesforce & ICT Manager

Bring your previous salesforce experience, project management skills and IT knowledge to this great full time position.

In summary you will be responsible for the administration and improvement of the Salesforce platform ensuring that it is supporting our business needs, and the resolution of timely IT issues relating to the IT infrastructure throughout the organisation (in conjunction with our outsourced IT partner).

Strong project management skills will be essential as you will oversee the migration of our fundraising database to Salesforce, together with our chosen external partner.

You will be an effective communicator and have demonstrated experience in working with a range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time and to budget.  You will have capability to provide end user systems training and make recommendations on systems improvements, and you must be confident in Salesforce report writing to meet business needs.

The other element of the role will be the management of day to day IT.  This will include the management of our external partner and ensuring their helpdesk respond to tickets in a timely manner, as per the service agreement. You will be responsible for all hardware and software and be capable of internal troubleshooting and problem solving, where required.

Health Educator (Townsville)

A visit from Life Ed Qld is a very special time within the school environment and in this unique role, you will deliver a range of Life Ed health and drug modules to primary aged children and early learning centres.

Whilst the content and outcomes are already developed, you will bring to life each module to ensure that children are engaged and you are seen as a valuable resource to teachers and the school in general.

You will be comfortable delivering parent information sessions, either face to face or online and are a confident speaker.

An important element of this role is the ability to not only travel in and around the Townsville region, but also to have the flexibility to travel for a school term to service our Mt Isa schools.

Sexual Health Educator (Brisbane)

We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Sexual Health Educator to promote and deliver our programs to schools in Brisbane and surrounding areas. A visit from Life Ed Qld is greatly valued by schools, and in this exciting and unique role you will deliver vital content aligned with the national Health and Physical Education curriculum. Topics include body image, identity, puberty, hygiene, friendships, consent, personal boundaries and personal safety.  This is a relationships and sexual health focused role, delivering mostly to senior primary school children. From time to time you will also be required to deliver age appropriate health education content to students in early learning centres and secondary schools.

To be successful, you must demonstrate confidence to deliver the required content to school age children, and parents, and also supporting classroom teachers with content integration. A teaching qualification is not mandatory however experience as a facilitator of children’s programs and a background of working with children is essential.

Applicants with the required experience and skills that have a background in education, health promotion, sexual health or nursing will be highly regarded.

You will be flexible and able to engage students in a variety of settings, whether it be a classroom, hall or library.

You will be comfortable delivering parent information sessions, either face to face or online, be a confident speaker, and able to build and maintain positive relationships with schools. You will be able to deal with sensitive topics and provide reassurance of the value of the program to address any parental concerns.

Topics include nutrition, respectful relationships, legal and illegal drugs, personal safety and sexual health – addressing the physical, social and emotional health of young people. From time to time you will also be required to deliver educational content to students in early learning centres and secondary schools.

You will be flexible and able to engage students in a variety of settings, whether it be a classroom, hall or library, or in the Life Education mobile learning centre.

As a Relief Educator, you must be able to travel throughout Queensland from time to time, although your main focus will be in the south east region between the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

Fundraising Database Administrator

In this role you will be focussed and responsible for  the high volume processing of financial payments for our 9,000 supporters each month. This will include full database management and accountability for data accuracy and the financial transaction and reporting tasks.

Task will include processing of monthly direct debit and credit card payments; data cleansing and manipulation (using Excel); list management and ability to segment data, communications to regular donors and other supporters – via phone and email; and donor research and relationship management.

There will also be some general administration tasks, including grant administration and also supporting other head office teams from time to time.

This role will suit someone who is a wiz with Excel and can process large volumes of data regularly, with speed and accuracy.

Fundraising Support Officer
