Life Ed Qld named as finalist in the Children's Rights Awards

Life Ed Queensland is proud to share some exciting news - we have been named as a finalist in the Children’s Rights Queensland Awards, Education category.

This recognition is more than an honour; it’s a reflection of our deep commitment to advancing and realising children’s rights across Queensland. We are forever grateful to our schools, communities and partners for helping us build a future where every child feels safe, supported and ready for the world.

Empowering Children Through Education

Each year, Life Ed Queensland empowers more than 180,000 children through education that equips them with knowledge, confidence and practical skills to make safe and healthy choices. Our programs cover important topics including:

  • Bullying prevention
  • Respectful relationships
  • Building emotional resilience
  • Personal safety and cybersafety
  • Health, development and wellbeing

By tackling these crucial areas, we help uphold every child’s right to health, protection, education and participation. Whether it’s learning how to stay safe online, understanding their bodies, or building respectful friendships, every session is designed to make a lasting difference in the lives of children.

“To be named as finalist in the Children’s Rights Awards is an incredible reminder that our work is making an impact!” Life Ed CEO Taryn Black

Here’s to every child feeling safe, seen, heard and valued, today and always.
