The Life Ed Qld program has reached more than 1.5 million Queensland students over the past 30 years, empowering children to make safe and healthy choices. Our iconic mobile learning centres – sometimes referred to as Healthy Harold vans – are synonymous with the program. With 20 mobile classrooms around the state, chances are you have seen the familiar Life Ed van in your local school or community.
As well as being the home of Healthy Harold, the custom-built mobile learning centres are equipped with state-of-the-art 3D technology and resources, enabling our team of educators to deliver our early learning and primary health education programs in the most engaging and impactful way.

The van features enough room to hold a class of students, a smart screen for added visuals, surround sound system to immerse learners, and integrates a variety of experiences and activities for students. In fact, a visit to the Life Ed van has grown to be a rite of passage for thousands of students during their years of early learning and primary school.
Students are actively involved in the learning process with interactive activities, group challenges and games, designed to get students thinking about what they are learning. The mobile learning centre is also a safe space to ask questions and learn among peers.
