The Role

To enhance our social impact, we have created a new role of Adult Education Officer to focus on delivering education and support to both parents and teachers.

Life Ed Qld is a trusted partner of Triple P and we are dedicated to delivering the Positive Parenting Program. This new role will take the lead in delivering this vital program to families, both face to face and online. You will help promote this program, as well as support and mentor Life Ed Qld Educators in the ongoing delivery of the Triple P program.

The role will oversee Triple P delivery goals across Queensland which will result in some travel and flexibility in hours.  Further details of this will be discussed at interview.

Applicants must address the following selection criteria in their application: 

  • Relevant qualification in counselling, psychology, social work, education or related field.
  • Strong group presentation and facilitation skills, delivering to adults.
  • Existing accreditation or previous experience in delivering Triple P Positive Parenting Program will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated capability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Have some flexibility with hours of work and ability to travel to meet demands of families and schools.
  • Have a current unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transport to travel.
  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card, or the capacity to obtain one prior to commencement.

This role will be offered as a part time position working (0.6) 22.8 hours per week.
